Synthesis Challenge
Is your team participating in this year’s
BunnyBots competition? If so, then you have the opportunity to win $500
through this year’s Synthesis Video Challenge!
Through the challenge,
teams will be tasked with creating a video that
features their BunnyBot using the Synthesis simulator. $500 dollars
each will be awarded to the two teams who best display their uses of
Synthesis through their video. Synthesis is a robot simulator created by
FRC students that allows CAD robot models to be
paired with code in a simulated match environment. The software allows
you to test your robot’s design, practice driving, and test code before
completing the manufacturing process.
This year’s BunnyBots field is
available to teams with the download of the
Synthesis software. More information and criteria for the video
challenge along with instructions on how to submit your video can be
found here. We can’t wait to see how your team uses Synthesis as a tool
to help prepare for this year’s BunnyBots competition!
Corvallis Scrimmage
There are 25 slots available to attend the Scrimmage. After the announcement last week 10 of those slots filled! If your team plans to attend register early. At this rate we fully expect this event to fill to capacity. What are the advantages of attending? There will be a regulation field to practice on. The game elements will not be official but they will be a mock up from game specifications.
Judges will be on hand so you can practice your Chairman's presentations and robot inspectors to check your bot before you bag it. Plus, the opportunity to see what other teams were able to accomplish this season. If you are a Rookie team, registration is FREE!
